The blur effect does not work at all!!! Avoid!!!

You can create better tilt shift effects with Instagrams simple blur feature. Avoid.

Nicer interface than the older version but the tiltshift blur is way overdone and looks fake. I will stick to the original TiltShiftGen app

I dont know what the developer thinks. Blur effect is now useless which is the only function I used in this app. And nothing changed in the new version which charges another $. Greedy...

The original Tiltshiftgen was one of the only apps available that employed multiple blur levels to create a gradual decrease in focus, far more like an actual camera effect than any of the competition. Unfortunately, this update uses the same cheap single overlay as all the other tiltshift effects, simply fading in a blurred version of the image instead of trying to simulate a focus shift. The results are, indeed, faster, but the quality is awful. Its more like a dirty lens than a defocus effect. Dont waste your money.

This new version of TiltShiftGen appears to have only two new features: - the ability to adjust blurred areas with two fingers - filters The blur adjust feature is nice. The filters are useless, at least to me. But the upgrade has two big fails: - in the previous version, saturation, brightness and contrast would remain at pre-set levels. Now I have to set them individually for every image - a huge drag. This is just poor design. - the app now does a lot of processing BEFORE displaying the image - before I even know if I want to keep the shot. (The previous version did the processing only after saving, a much more palatable procedure.) As a result of these two design failures, it takes much longer to produce an acceptable image. I recommend the previous version.

The vignette looks terrible now. The previous version had a nice smooth circle, this one is like darkening four corners of a rectangle. Its weird. Please fix this. Thank you!

The first tilt shift app is good, tilt shift 2 is terrible. The blur tool is horrid. Buy the first tilt shift, ignore this one

Using the camera button in app usually yields a black photo you cannot use and the app also crashes almost every other time you try and use it. Pass on this app and find another tilt shift app.

The blur in the old version was so much better than this! I compared the thumbnails while both apps were open and its true what other users reviews claim (the blur looks cheap and fake).This apps blur is too uniform like a blanket Gaussian filter. The old version had a subtle blur gradation of intensity that seemed to mimic natural depth of field in a more convincing way for most applications. Im sorry developer but please fix this awesome app because it still has potential! The nice user interface is the only reason why I gave it higher than one star. Please restore blur.

I havent been able to see how this app works, because whether I open a photo or take one using the built in camera, all that loads is a black screen. I came here to see if maybe I was using this incorrectly, but it sounds like Im not the only one experiencing this issue.

Same problem. I see a black screen 1/2 the time I try to use this app. Fix it! Its ridiculous.

I liked this app before IOS8. After upgrading to ISO8, the camera on this app does not work.

1 is better. The effect is cheesy and unnatural
